The SunCoast Wheel Senior features a wall-to-wall plastic inner track that securely fits into the wheel covers and completely encloses the axle. This shield eliminates the need to inspect the axle for stickiness, which can lead to tail-axle injuries, as the glider's tail cannot reach the wheel's axle. For the best way to keep your pet's nails trimmed while they use the Wodent Wheel, we recommend our Nail-O-Matic product.

If your pet resides in a wire cage, you'll find it helpful to secure the wheel to a wall or ceiling of the habitat. We include detailed instructions with pictures and the necessary accessories to do so. This wheel is specifically designed for Sugar Gliders, Hamsters, and Small Rats, with a diameter of 11" (12" with the stand). Unfortunately, hedgehogs will likely require a larger wheel.
